The dinner will be held at 8:15 November 8 at Tadka Square, 11105 State Bridge Road Alpharetta (behind BB&T bank in shopping center adjacent to Kroger)

10 years already?! As many of you know, 2008 marks the 10 Year Anniversary of Chabad of Alpharetta.

Just 10 years ago, Rabbi and Mrs. Minkowicz moved here with just a simple dream. They rented a small home in which they began offering a Jewish enrichment programs and services. Soon after, a small dance studio was rented to house their programs. Now in just a short time, they have moved to several acres and are in the process of building a multi purpose community facility.

They offer classes and educational experiences for babies through their grandparent’s ages. They offer Adult education, Shabbat dinners, Minyans, Shabbos services, life cycle events, celebrations for all Jewish holidays, Camp Gan Izzy and so much more. Their tireless efforts have grown this community to several hundred families.

All of this is done without mandatory membership dues, without mandatory building fees, without high fee programs. All programs are brought to all members of the community regardless of affiliation and regardless of the ability to contribute.

The 10 Year Anniversary party will be a time to thank Rabbi and Mrs. Minkowicz for their tireless efforts for our community. It will be a great celebration with fantastic food, entertainment, and of course, friends.
